Centenary College partners with the Yellow Ribbon GI Enhancement Program, a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The College voluntarily enters into an agreement with Veterans Affairs to fund tuition expenses that exceed the national cap of $17,500 and matches dollar for dollar the difference in tuition and fees for qualifying veterans. To learn if you are eligible for this program click here.
For students who do not qualify for the Yellow Ribbon Program, Centenary offers:
Veteran's Scholarship Full time students may receive a Veteran's Scholarship equivalent to 30 percent of the current tuition.
30 Percent Tuition Reduction Part time and Graduate students may be entitled to a 30 percent tuition reduction. This discount applies to all degree and certificate programs.
Our admissions counselors are graduates of the Certificate for Veteran's Service Providers (CVSP) program — a two and one-half day training designed by Operation College Promise to establish environments for veterans' success, wherever they are being served. Our Veterans Administrator is the school official designated to administer VA Education programs at Centenary College. In addition, the Veterans Administrator works closely with the student/veteran population to assist with education benefits, academic success, and veterans services in general.
